When I go out, I’m more of a bar/lounge kind of guy, but when Mohegan Sun in Connecticut invited me and some friends to join them for the grand opening of their newest nightclub, Avalon, I couldn’t say no. Sometimes you just need to get out of the city and let loose.
I’ve been to Mohegan Sun a few times and what I love about when I am there is I can relax and have fun at the same time. What could be better?
For a nightclub in Connecticut, I was impressed by the Saturday night crowd at Avalon. Australian DJ Havana Brown and DJ Irie hyped up the crowd, while a few famous faces like my buddy Vinny Guadagnino from “The Jersey Shore fist pumped with Stassi Schroeder from Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” and designer Nicky Hilton:
You’re probably used to seeing me I’m on the red carpet in colorful or bold suits like this one or this one. For a club opening, however, I wanted something equally as vibrant and on-trend but also be able to move around. So, I opted for this Isabel Marant for H&M swoonworthy graphic print linen t-shirt ($40) that just came out. (I had to fight for this shirt at the VIP preview a few weeks ago). I paired it with leather pants from Zara and hightop sneakers from Android Homme:
